O.K. I know it’s really girly, but last night I went out with some gals pals to see the Sex and the City movie. We had a blast. The music, the fashion, was great and the story line was much more grown up than the last one. There were 3 poor guys in the audience – obviously on first dates or dragged there by their mates. But on the other hand- single guys – I have to say this movie’s audience is the best looking crowd I have seen in a room. Designer duds –the works! No sloppy joe’s. Smart guys will pick that up and attend with friends, guaranteed you will be sitting next to a good looking gal.
My friends and I went out to dinner, enjoyed a drink, and then went to the show. We looked around the restaurant and saw pods of girls doing exactly the same thing. It was an amazing sight to see.
What stands out in this movie is the power of friendship – it endures over problems in marriage, difficulties of parenthood, work troubles, everything. The movie reminds us to enjoy ourselves and not take life too seriously.
If you’re on the fence about it – go! It’s one of Kim Catrell’s BEST performances – there’s one scene in a marketplace where you’ll know what I mean!
Enjoy the weekend
