Live in the NOW

Posted on 30 October 2012 by Stefanie

Just this past weekend my home town was hit with a 7.7 magnitude earthquake.

It was scary and felt by many and the aftershocks are happening daily and may continue to occur for years, but luckily massive destruction was avoided due to the fact that it occurred in the ocean.

My family is ok and safe, if not a little “shaken”.

This earthquake did cause a Tsunami warning for my province of BC out all the way to Hawaii and Japan.

Add to that Hurricane Sandy, I wanted to send a little prayer out to everyone living on the East Coast of Canada and the USA, as well as everyone affected by forces outside of our hands, be it Mother Nature, circumstances, finances or health.

Hold on to your family and neighbors tightly and with love.

Life is precious and can change in an instant.

Life would feel safer I think, if we knew that we were there to help one another and work together.

Be safe and live in the NOW this week and next.
